A pre-race sample was taken from African Rhino.
Morning Cruise was slow to begin. Glamorous Cheech and Milwalcar collided soon after the start. Zipping Faith and Milwalcar collided soon after the start. Zipping Faith, Milwalcar, Glamorous Cheech and African Rhino collided approaching the first turn checking Milwalcar and Glamorous Cheech. George Mist checked off Leroy Tron approaching the first turn. George Mist checked off Zipping Faith on the first turn checking Morning Cruise and Milwalcar.
Morning Cruise was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left pencil muscle and a laceration to the tail. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Milwalcar was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
