Steward's Report
Call Me Rascal was a late scratching at 2.18PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to fleas. No stand down period was imposed.
Aston Rocky and Blue Magnum were slow to begin. Aston Rocky and My Name's Josie collided on the first turn, checking Aston Rocky, Awesome Freckles, Stetson Dasha and Hypnotic Trance. My Name's Josie fell as a result. Hypnotic Trance checked off Aston Rocky approaching the home turn. Stetson Dasha pulled up on the home turn.
My Name's Josie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Ferguson, the trainer of the greyhound My Name's Josie. Stewards deemed the performance of My Name's Josie unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that My Name's Josie must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stetson Dasha was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey and right groin muscles, a twenty-one day stand down period was imposed.
