A pre race sample was taken from Fred's My Name.
Baroness Jill was slow to begin. Cindy's Zafonic and Princess Strike collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Bobby Tron, Fred's My Name and Anna Gun collided on the first turn, checking Bobby Tron. Hotlips Matilda and Baroness Jill collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Cindy's Zafonic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right groin, right deltoid and left wrist injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
