Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms G. Lemin trainer of the greyhound Lana Lass which had not raced since 22 June 2016. Ms Lemin stated that the greyound was new to the kennel.
Nev Time was slow to begin. Patchie Anchor, Vanderville Kid, Lana Lass, Boris Lee and Pure Sacrifice collided soon after the start, checking Lana Lass. Boris Lee and Pure Sacrifice collided approaching the first turn, checking Pure Sacrifice. Patchie Anchor checked off Boris Lee approaching the home turn. Pure Sacrifice checked off Vanderville Kid on the home turn. Lana Lass and Pure Sacrifice collided approaching the winning post.
Patchie Anchor was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right deltoid and left groin injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Nev Time was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right whip and right triangle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
