Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr B.Hare, the trainer of Blown Turbo regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Blown Turbo last raced on 29 March, 2016. Mr Hare stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a wrist injury.
Ace Gone Wild, Minca Man and Seabrook Gem were slow to begin. Mon Dasha was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Like A Bailey and Destini Bluejay collided approaching the first turn. Ace Gone Wild and Minca Man collided approaching the first turn. Like A Bailey and Destini Bluejay collided on the first turn. Destini Bluejay, Mate and Minca Man collided on the first turn, severely checking Minca Man. Mon Dasha and Destini Bluejay collided on the home turn. Ace Gone Wild, Blown Turbo and Mate collided on the home turn, severely checking Blown Turbo.
Blown Turbo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left groin injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
