Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Wright, the trainer of Latifi Nick Nack regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Latifi Nick Nack last raced on 27th June 2016. Mr. Wright stated that the greyhound is returning to racing after a change of kennel.
Bageera and Jack The Fipa were slow to begin. Duty Free and Latifi Nick Nack collided several times approaching the first turn, checking Latifi Nick Nack which stumbled as a result. Manila Blue checked off Duty Free on the third turn.
A sample was taken from Duty Free - the winner of the event.
Latifi Nick Nack was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained mild swelling and pain to the left back muscle, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
