Mr J Thomson was fined the sum of $50 for his failure to produce the registration card for the greyhound Stylish Label pursuant to GAR 33.
Eaglehawk Beffa was slow to begin. Hamilton and Eaglehawk Beffa collided soon after the start. Cape Cruiser andn Stylish Label collided soon after the start. Xavier Bright and Cape Cruiser collided soon after the start. Suplex City galloped on the heels of Xavier Bright on the first turn, checking Eaglehawk Beffa, severely checking Xavier Bright, Suplex City and Red Hot Summer, causing Red Hot Summer and Suplex City to fall as a result. Xavier Bright faultered approaching the home turn and tailed off as a result. Hamilton checked off Cape Cruiser on the home turn.
Xavier Bright was vetted and after being re-vetted following event six, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right chest muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Cape Cruiser was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder and left pin muscle, a five day stand down period was imposed.
Red Hot Summer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
Suplex City was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
