Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Little Sport.
Missy Miss and Dynamo Magic were slow to begin. Acquitted, Talented Miss and Little Sport collided approaching the first turn, checking Acquitted. Talented Miss, Little Sport and Futurist collided on the first turn, severely checking Acquitted, Talented Miss, Little Sport and checking Futurist and Missy Miss. Dynamo Magic crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Groover Groover.
Following the event Futurist collapsed in the catching pen. As a result the greyhound was vetted. It was reported that the greyhound experienced a probable seizure and PEDs. A 5 day stand down penalty was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr P.Krasnaborodkin, the trainer of Futurist and advised him that acting in accordance with GAR 74, Stewards directed that Futurist must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
