Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Mepunga Armagh engaged in this event on 27.08.15 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Mepunga Armagh was quick to begin. Dromore's Pearl, Mepunga Tiara and Pud collided soon after the start, checking Dromore's Pearl, Mepunga Tiara and Miner Rush. Dewana Result and Pud collided on the first turn. Miner Rush and Pud collided on the first turn, checking Pud. Miner Rush and Mepunga Tiara collided on the second turn. Pud checked off Miner Rush on the third turn. Miner Rush and Dromore's Pearl collided on the home turn.
Miner Rush was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 9, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Ms D.White, the handler of the greyhound Miner Rush. Stewards deemed the performance of Miner Rush unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Miner Rush must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
