Diablo Keroma and El Toro Loco were slow to begin. Abandon Paradise crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Pure Riddle. Sillybilly Bling and Avatar Ranger collided soon after the start. Air Candy checked off Abandon Paradise at the 300 metre mark. Diablo Keroma checked off El Toro Loco at the 250 metre mark. Diablo Keroma checked off Abandon Paradise approaching the 150 metre mark. Diablo Keroma and Air Candy collided approaching the 150 metre mark. Air Candy checked off Diablo Keroma at the 100 metre mark.
Stewards noted that the muzzle of Abandon Paradise became dislodged soon after the start.
Abandon Paradise was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
