Steward's Report
Malted was quick to begin. Cro Cop was slow to begin. Pacific Secret and Dana Archie collided soon after the start, checking Dana Archie. Malted, Zipping Coco and Abscond collided approaching the first turn, checking Malted and Zipping Coco. Cro Cop and Dana Archie collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Cro Cop and Dana Archie collided approaching the second turn, checking Dana Archie. Pacific Secret checked off Abscond in the back straight. Pacific Secret checked off Dream Ticket on the third turn and lost considerable ground as a result. Zipping Coco checked off Pacific Secret on the home turn. Malted and Zipping Coco raced wide in the home straight. Zipping Coco checked off Cro Cop entering the home straight.
Pacific Secret was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Meeting Comments :
Stewards spoke to Mr R Davies, kennel attendant and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding his duties during kennelling after a greyhound was placed in the incorrect kennel.
