Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr J Collins, representative of the greyhound Junner Bale in regards to the extended period of time between the greyhound's races. Junner Bale last raced on the 10th May 2015. Mr Collins stated that Junner Bale was returning to race after a transfer of kennel and a new trainer. Stewards noted Mr Collins's explanation.
A pre race sample was taken from Assertive Seer.
Cosmic Medusa and Junner Bale were slow to begin and collided soon after the start, checking Junner Bale. Assertive Seer checked off Rodarte Quayle soon after the start. Cosmic Medusa galloped on the heels of Rodarte Quayle approaching the first turn, severely checking Cosmic Medusa and Junner Bale. Rodarte Quayle checked off Assertive Seer approaching the home turn.
Meeting Conditions:
Re-Vetted Greyhound - Quint Bale was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling and was cleared to race.
