Stewards spoke to Mr S Brandon, representative of the greyhound Crucify in regards to the extended period of time between the greyhound's races.  Crucify last raced on the 22nd May 2015. Mr Brandon stated that Crucify was returning to race after a transfer of kennel and a new trainer.  Stewards noted Mr Brandon's explanation.

Sharon Benz was quick to begin.  Crucify was slow to begin.  Cosmic Lola, Crucify, Duval and Nawala Barko collided soon after the start, checking Crucify and Duval.  Nawala Barko checked off Crucify approaching the first turn.  Unaffordable checked off Aeroplane Sally on the first turn.  Sharon Benz checked off Crucify in the home straight.

Iona Nitro and Cosmic Goldie were quick to begin.  Billy Bio and Unlawful Entry were slow to begin.  Mick Rydian, Billy Bio and Unlawful Entry collided approaching the first turn, checking Mick Rydian and Billy Bio.  Iona Nitro crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Andelven and Norman Benz.  Norman Benz, Andelven and Treatty collided approaching the first turn, checking Andelven.  Norman Benz, Treatty and Billy Bio collided approaching the home turn, checking Treatty and Billy Bio, causing Mick Rydian to race wide as a result.  Unlawful Entry, Treatty and Mick Rydian raced wide in the home straight.

Dyna Chaser was slow to begin.  Kid Audacious, Champer Bale and Iona Machine collided soon after the start, checking Champer Bale and Iona Machine.  Minority, Champer Bale and Iona Machine collided approaching the first turn, checking Champer Bale and Iona Machine.  Tizza Nitro checked off Maintenance Man approaching the first turn.  Tizza Nitro checked off Champer Bale on the first turn.  Champer Bale and Iona Machine collided on the home turn.  Maintenance Man and Iona Machine raced wide in the home straight.

Iona Machine was vetted following the event, and after being re-vetted following race 7, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Young Henry was slow to begin.  Global Lad, Zac's A Sixpence, Good Odds Demon and Thelma's Man collided on the first turn, checking Zac's A Sixpence and Thelma's Man and severely checking Good Odds Demon.  Zac's A Sixpence and Thelma's Man collided approaching the second turn, checking Thema's Man.  Zac's A Sixpence checked off Young Henry on the second turn and raced wide as a result.  Zac's A Sixpence and Young Henry raced wide in the home straight.  Global Lad checked off Quaint Bale approaching the winning post.

Good Odds Demon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Collins, representative of the greyhound Leopold Bale in regards to the extended period of time between the greyhound's races.  Leopold Bale last raced on the 13th March 2015.  Mr Collins stated that Leopold Bale was returning to race after a transfer of kennel and a new trainer.  Stewards noted Mr Collins's explanation.

Mr J Collins, representative of Leoplod Bale redeclared a new weight of 32.8 kg's for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Leopold Bale last raced at 34.4 kgs.

Scrubby Nichols was quick to begin.  Miss Petrova was slow to begin.  Dory Bale, Leopold Bale and Jack Winter collided soon after the start, checking Leopold Bale.  Ready Jet Go, Silent Fletch and High Mission collided soon after the start, checking Silent Fletch and High Mission.  Leopold Bale lost ground approaching the first turn.  Dory Bale and Scrubby Nichols collided on the first turn, checking Scrubby Nichols, Ready Jet Go and Silent Fletch, Ready Jet Go and Silent Fletch raced wide as a result.  Silent Fletch checked off Ready Jet Go approaching the home turn.  Ready Jet Go and Jack Winter raced wide on the home turn.  Leopold Bale checked off Silent Fletch entering the home straight.  Leopold Bale raced wide in the home straight.

Leopold Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr R Darby, trainer of the greyhound Dynamo's Gift in regards to the extended period of time between the greyhound's races.  Dynamo's Gift last raced on the 29th May 2015.  Mr Darby stated that Dynamo'sGift was returning to race after suffering a stopper injury.  Stewards noted Mr Darby's explanation.

Big Ticket and Agility collided soon after the start, checking Agility.  Allen Icarus and Psychotic Bob collided soon after the start, checking Allen Icarus.  Billo's Pick, Dynamo's Gift and Beckenbauer collided approaching the first turn, checking Beckenbauer.  Big Ticket and Deano's Gadget collided approaching the first turn, checking Deano's Gadget and Agility.  Beckenbauer and Psychotic Bob collided on the first turn, checking Psychotic Bob and Allen Icarus.  Allen Icarus and Agility collided entering the home straight, checking Agility.  Psychotic Bob and Deano's Gadget raced wide in the home straight.  Agility and Psychotic Bob collided approaching the winning post.

Ate Grand Kids was a late scratching at 9.24pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an injured right pectoral muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Blast Away, Rangatang and Elite Stress collided soon after the start, checking Rangatang.  Belena Prince crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Blast Away and Elite Stress.  Cruisen Billy, Elite Watch and Unbound collided on the first turn, checking Elite Watch and Unbound.  Elite Watch and Unbound collided on the homem turn and again in the home straight, checking Elite Watch and Elite Stress.  Elite Stress, Cruisen Billy and Blast Away raced wide in the home straight.
