Steward's Report
Mr M. Ellis, Trainer of Vee Bee Elle redeclared a new weight of 30.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Vee Bee Elle last raced at 28.8kg.
Silver Wood and All Inn Together were slow to begin. Shirley Bass crossed to the rail soon after the start checking All Inn Together and Lady Juar. Silver Wood and Duff Bale collided on the first turn. Impressive Levy, Fiery Nell and Vee Bee Elle collided on the first turn checking Duff Bale, severely checking Vee Bee Elle which tailed off as a result. Lady Juar checked off Vee Bee Elle approaching the home turn.
Vee Bee Elle was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 12. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind muscle strain, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
