Steward's Report

Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Ms K. McMahon, Judge, did not act in any official capacity for this event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Magic Buddie.

Proven Crown was slow to begin.  Zipping Izzy and Finchy collided soon after the start checking Zipping Izzy.  King's Delight, Tat Molly, Ido Voodoo and Magic Buddie collided soon after the start checking King's Delight, severely checking Tat Molly.  King's Delight checked off Proven Crown approaching the first turn.  Zipping Morgan and Magic Buddie collided on the first turn checking Proven Crown and Magic Buddie.  Proven Crown and Zipping Morgan raced wide in the home straight.

King's Delight was vetted following Race 12.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained superficial grazes to the right hind metatarsal and spike wounds to the right hind toes, no stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr D. Peterson, Representative of King's Delight.  Stewards deemed the performance of King's Delight unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that King's Delight must perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, before any future nomination will be accepted.
