Steward's Report
Tilly Court was a late scratching at 5:30 pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. B. Harper was fined the sum of $100.
A pre race sample was taken from Mepunga Treasure.
Onto Jatt was quick to begin. Avon Power was slow to begin. Onto Jatt, Shake The Night and Lonesome Katie collided on the first turn checking Shake The Night and Lonesome Katie. Mepunga Treasure faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off. Shake The Night raced wide approaching the home turn and on the home turn. Onto Jatt and Avon Power raced wide entering the home straight.
Mepunga Treasure was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
