Pupetta Maresca and Dyna Archie collided approaching the first turn, checking Dyna Archie. Dyna Archie and Weasley Grange collided approaching the first turn, checking Dyna Archie. Dudley Dursley and City And Colour collided approaching the home turn. Dudley Dursley checked off Cororooke Chook on the home turn, checking City And Colour. Dyna Archie and Como Bimbo raced wide in the home straight. Weasley Grange and Dudley Dursley collided several times in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. I Cockerell, the trainer of the greyhound Dudley Dursley regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Dudley Dursley was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hip, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dudley Dursley with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Cockerell pleaded guilty to the charge, Dudley Dursley was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
