Yeah Mint was quick to begin. Miss Skye High and Cruisy's Lil collided soon after the start, checking Miss Skye High. Betta Bale, Cruisy's Lil and Taxi Jack collided on the first turn, checking Betta Bale, which collided with Sisco General. Britt Baxter and Cruisy's Lil collided approaching the home turn, checking Britt Baxter, Sisco General and Betta Bale, and severely checking Cruisy's Lil, which stumbled and contacted the running rail.
Miss Skye High was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
