Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms S.Quinlan, trainer of the greyhound Bali Prince which had not raced since 24 June 2016. Ms Quinlan stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Assistant Judge, E. Fothergill did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Swift Fozz and Flying Vulcan were slow to begin. Bali Prince was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Kappow, All Inn Tana, Bluey Fields and Crumo's Beauty collided soon after the start, checking All Inn Tana. Kappow, Crump's Beauty and Westmead Maggie collided on the first turn, checking Westmead Maggie and All Inn Tana. All Inn Tana, Kappow, Bluey Fields, Bali Prince and Crump's Beauty collided on the first turn, checking Kappow, Crump's Beauty, Bali Prince and All Inn Tana. All Inn Tana checked off Crump's Beauty approaching the home turn. Bluey Fields and Flying Vulcan collided entering the home straight. Bluey Fields, Flying Vulcan and Kappow collided in the home straight, checking Flying Vulcan.
All Inn Tana was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sprain to the left hind toe, no stand down period was imposed.
