Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Scot's Dunker upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Big Talker and Dark Tantra were slow to begin. Scot's Dunker, Joni Sunset and Mabuti Girl collided soon after the start. Suitress and Wise Harry collided soon after the start. Glamorous Cheech checked off Wise Harry on the first turn. Big Talker, Suitress, Dark Tantra and Mabuti Girl collided on the first turn checking Suitress, Dark Tantra and Mabuti Girl. Suitress and Dark Tantra collided approaching the home turn. Big Talker and Glamorous Cheech collided on the home turn causing Big Talker to fall.
Big Talker was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
