A pre-race sample was taken from Snake Woman upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre-race sample was taken from Oscar.
Dodge The Cop was quick to begin. Xan Mai crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Snake Woman, Dodge The Cop, Pete's Timey and Oscar and severely checking Silver Rockstar and Prison Cells; Golden Blaze fell as a result.
Golden Blaze was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right back muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. Inguanti stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a right achillies injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Summertron trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 1, weight 34.1kgs. The greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.85. The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2.75 lengths. Summertron was cleared.
