Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Fulton, the trainer of Missy's Creek regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Missy's Creek last raced on 2nd June, 2016. Mr. Fulton stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a spell. Mr. Fulton also declared a new weight of 31.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Missy's Creek last raced at 29.9kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Mister Limbo.
Caitlin Louise and Tai Chi Mini were quick to begin. Mister Limbo was slow to begin. Missy's Creek and Seabrook Indi collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Missy's Creek checked off Mister Limbo approaching the first turn. Mister Limbo, Caitlin Louise and Seabrook Indi collided on the first turn checking Caitlin Louise, Mister Limbo, Senni Richard, Eric Jay and Chabay Laray. Caitlin Louise and Mister Limbo collided approaching the home turn. Missy's Creek and Chabay Laray collided approaching the home turn checking Missy's Creek.
