Steward's Report
Smooth Rebel and Pocket Kings were slow to begin. Greysynd Phantom, Laredo and Nayla Swift collided approaching the first turn. Smooth Rebel checked off Laredo approaching the first turn. Greysynd Phantom, Laredo, Evers Bale and Mepunga Rosie collided on the first turn checking Smooth Rebel and Mepunga Rosie and severely checking Laredo which tailed off as a result. Greysynd Phantom and Evers Bale collided approaching the second turn. Greysynd Phantom checked off Evers Bale on the third turn. Evers Bale checked off Nayla Swift entering the home straight.
Laredo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left wrist. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Smooth Rebel was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
