Steward's Report
Cosmic Goldie was very slow to begin (2.5 lengths). Mum's Gem checked off Hallibel Bale soon after the start. Dana Archie and Mum's Gem collided approaching the first turn. Mafalda Hopkirk, Chloe's Entity, Steel Fury and Hallibel Bale collided on the first turn, checking Cosmic Goldie and Dana Archie and severely checking Chloe's Entity. Mafalda Hopkirk checked off Hallibel Bale approaching the home turn. Mum's Gem, Cosmic Goldie and Dana Archie collided approaching the home turn, checking Dana Archie and Chloe's Entity.
Chloe's Entity was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr J Burch in that when behind the starting boxes he used improper language which in the opinion of the stewards constituted misconduct (GAR 86(o)). Mr Burch pleaded guilty to the charge and Stewards issued a fine of $50.00.
