Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Judge K. McMahon did not act in any official capacity for this event.
A car park sample was unable to be obtained from Eight Bells Toll. A pre race sample was subsequently taken.
Kraken Manager, Hammer Hawke and Minca Man were slow to begin. Proven Malibu and Gunmetal Angel collided soon after the start. Hammer Hawke galloped on the heels of Veetee Magic approaching the first turn. Scott Eeyore and Minca Man collided approaching the first turn. Veetee Magic, Hammer Hawke and Proven Malibu collided on the first turn severley checking Scott Eeyore, Proven Malibu and Minca Man and severely checking Hammer Hawke which fell. Gunmetal Angel and Eight Bells Toll collided approaching the home turn checking Eight Bells Toll. Scott Eeyore raced wide in the home straight.
Hammer Hawke was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right fore dew claw. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
