Barnie's Blaster and Rock Me Baby collided approaching the home turn checking Rock Me Baby and Spring Top. Ultimate Matrix galloped on the heels of Spring Top approaching the home turn checking Ollie Rose and Bowon Approach and severely checking Ultimate Matrix and Spring Top. Rock Me Baby and Shazza's Gift collided several times on the ome turn. Rock Me Baby and Shazza's Gift collided entering the home straight, in the home straight and approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Cosmic lotus was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Spring Top was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor spike wound to the right hind foot. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Van taarling, the trainer of the greyhound Shazza's Gift regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Shazza's Gift was vetted  following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left hind toe, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards chargedShazza's Gift with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Van taarling pleaded guilty to the charge, Shazza's Gift was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr. D. Basile, trainer of Cailin Louise declared a new weight of 28.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Caitlin Louise last raced at 27.0kg.

Caitlin Louise was quick to begin. Provision was slow to begin. Highfield Bones and Provision collided approaching the first turn. Reverend John and My Sirion collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Highfield Bones and Twilight Cruiser collided approaching the home turn. Reverend John and My Sirion collided approaching the home turn checking Reverend John. Argyle Bonnie and Caitlin Louise collided on the home turn. Provision and Twilight Cruiser collided in the home straight. Cailin Louise, Thor's Crest and Argyle Bonnie collided in the home straight checking Thor's Crest, Caitlin Louise and Provision and checking Highfield Bones which stumbled.

Mr. M. Abey, handler of Swift Jaraig declared a new weight of 24.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Swift Jaraig last raced at 25.8kg.

Sodidee and Rick Grimes collided soon after the start. paper Cuts, Robbie Gallen, Avatar Storm and Tat Mine collided soon after the start and approaching the first turn. Good Wick, Miss Lumens, Remember Train and Billilunawere slow to begin. Miss Lumens faltered on the first turn checking Good Wick. Miss Lumens tailed off as a result. Good Wick and Remember Train collided on the first turn and again on the home turn. Billiluna and Fred's My Name collided approaching the home turn checking Billiluna. Miss Lumens was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a back injury. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

A sample was taken from Heartbreak Love, winner of the event.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Judge K. McMahon did not act in any official capacity for this event.

A car park sample was unable to be obtained from Eight Bells Toll. A pre race sample was subsequently taken.

Hammer Hawke was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right fore dew claw. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

Shiro was a late scratching at 10:52 due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lotus Lily and Obama Flyer collided on the first turn checking Lotus Lily which collided with Burrawonga Tiny. Wilora checked off Burrawonga Tiny on the first turn. Miss Firing and My Name's Sheree collided on the first turn checking Miss Firing. Miss Firing and Glory Rose collided approaching the home turn checking Miss Firing. Miss Firing, Burrawonga Tiny and Lotus lily collided approaching the home turn checking Miss Firing and Lotus Lily. Miss Firing and Lotus Lily collided approaching the home turn checking Miss Firing. Miss Firing was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Mr. Formosa declined to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Jason Formosa, the handler of the greyhound Miss Firing regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Miss Firing with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, Miss Firing was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Burrawonga Tiny, unplaced in the event.

A pre race sample was taken from Gold Price.

Myalla Five and Mr. Banks were slow to begin. Kraken Zuri, Memphis Victorem and Krisbar Fly Half collided on the first turn checking Gold Price, Kraken Zuri and Mr. Banks and severely checking Memphis Victorem and Kraken Zuri. Karaoke Ken and Mr. Banks collided approaching the home turn checking Karaoke Ken and Gold Price. Gold Price and Karaoke Ken collided approaching the home turn. Gold Price checked off the heels of Karaoke Ken in the home staright and raced wide.

Gold Price was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the back. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Mad Bekim was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right metatarsal. A stand down period of 60 days was imposed.

Lektra Diva was a late scratching at 18:16 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. J. Mangion was fined the sum of $100.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms. S. Quinlan, the trainer of Sunlit Cobber regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Sunlit Cobber last raced on 30/11/2015. Ms. Quinlan stated that the greyhound was returning from a hip injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Sunlit Cobber trialled over the 390mts from box 1, weight 32.8kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was22:60, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 1.75L. Sunlit Cobber was Cleared.
