Unika Allen, Tiny Bopper, Dyna Dalma and Zipping Dee collided approaching the first turn checking Unika Allen and Dyna Dalma.  Unika Allen and Dyna Dalma collided on the first turn.  Tiny Bopper checked off Zipping Dee on the first turn.  Unika Allen and Dyna Dalma collided approaching the second turn.  Gawker Bale, Sandy Monelli and Zipping Dee collided on the third turn checking Zipping Dee and Sandy Monelli.  Zipping Dee eased on the third turn and collided with Unika Allen; Zipping Dee, Unika Allen and Tiny Bopper were checked as a result.  Zipping Dee eased approaching the home turn and collided with Tiny Bopper severely checking both greyhounds. 

Zipping Dee was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hamstring.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Schlensog, the representative of the greyhound Zipping Dee regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the third turn and approaching the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1), stewards charged Zipping Dee with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Schlensog pleaded guilty to the charge.  Zipping Dee was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR (A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
