Lady Kinross was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained mild soreness to its left triangle muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was impossed.

Zipping Dee was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hamstring.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Schlensog, the representative of the greyhound Zipping Dee regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the third turn and approaching the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1), stewards charged Zipping Dee with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Schlensog pleaded guilty to the charge.  Zipping Dee was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR (A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Fizzy Bale was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Rock Away and Stunning Success.  Stunning Success checked off Sachi approaching the first turn and collided with Dyna Fame.  Sachi checked off Lass Bale on the first turn.  Fizzy Bale checked off Lass Bale approaching the second turn and collided with Rock Away; Rock Away, Sachi and Cool Springs were checked as a result.  Rock Away and Sachi collided on the third turn checking Sachi.  Sachi checked off Rock Away approaching the home turn and contacted the running rail as a result.

Dyna Peanut was a late scratching at 9:03am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Loose Unit was quick to begin.  Honouring Percy was slow to begin.  All Inn Together and General Romulus collided approaching the first turn.  Chief Bale checked off Honouring Percy on the first turn.  All Inn Together, General Romulus and Paranoia collided on the first turn checking All Inn Together and General Romulus.  Chief Bale raced wide on the first turn.  Loose Unit checked off Bekele on the first turn.  All Inn Together checked off Loose Unit approaching the home turn.

Nudge Nudge was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained fractures to its left radius/ulna and left wrist.  The greyhound was humanely euthanised.
