Steward's Report
Righto Mitch and Motors Too Fast was quick to begin. Select Racer, Tipping Woody, Emm Kaes Joker and Terra Flash were slow to begin. Select Racer eased approaching the first turn and subsequently pulled up. Tipping Woody and Motors Too Fast collided on the first turn checking Motors Too Fast and Run Rosie. Motors Too Fast and Terra Flash collided on the first turn checking Motors Too Fast.
Select Racer was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Bailey, the trainer of the greyhound Select Racer regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Select Racer with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Bailey pleaded guilty to the charge. Select Racer was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
