Lonesome George was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a cut to the left metatarsal and the right front pad. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Game Spirit was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

This race was delayed approximately 3 minutes due to Canberra races being late on Sky One, being changed to Sky Two and to wait for Alexandra Trots to finish.

Bletchley and Helen Baxter collided several times entering the home straight and in the home straight. Bletchley raced wide in the home straight checking Helen Baxter.

Penny Pitstop was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right for toe. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Bojack Kahn was slow to begin. Tammy Baxter and Slick Ice collided soon after the start. Ready Jet Go, Hawka Tron and Pretty Boy Grigg collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Pretty Boy Grigg checked off Bojack Kahn on the first turn.

Mr. A. Marum was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/registration card were produced for the greyhound Sisco Wander pursuant to GAR 33.

Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the greyhounds Lektra Khan and Eddie Yap not being caught by the allocated catcher.

Cool Springs, Limburg Dan and Fear The Boss were slow to begin. Dr. Leonardo, Silvertop, Limburg Dan and General Romulus collided soon after the start checking Silvertop, Limburg Dan and General Romulus. Militant Chief faltered and lost ground on the first turn checking Cool Springs.

Militant Chief was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hamstring injury. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed.

Howies Flyer was slow to begin.  Jaycee plumb, Chevsta and Blingsteen collided soon after the start checking Blingsteen. Howies Flyer, Chevsta, Jaycee Plumb and Suzie collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Howies Flyer and severely checking Jaycee Plumb which collided with and severly checked Blingsteen. Suzie, Chevsta and Advice Aplenty on the home turn.

Blingsteen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right stifle. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Jaycee Plumb was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Seabrook Eb, Darra Ash and Dr. Poppel were slow to begin. Iron Side, Darra Ash, Rosette and Jackdell collided soon after the start checking Rosette. Iron Side and Bert's Special collided approaching the home turn checking Bert's Special. Rosette and Suitress collided approaching the home turn checking Rosette. Rosette checked off Dr. Poppel on the home turn. Jackdell and Iron Side collided in the home straight.

Baroness Tiffie, Irish Asteria and Stunning Success were quick to begin. Rex On and Irish Asteria collided on the first turn checking Irish Asteria checking Irish Asteria. Guthrie checked off Lido's Boy on the home turn checking Irish Asteria. Sunset Oasis eased approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Dapiran, the trainer of the greyhound Sunset Oasis regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Sunset Oasis was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both wrists, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Sunset Oasis with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Dapiran pleaded guilty to the charge, Sunset Oasis was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Spritely Boy was slow to begin. Iceni Outlaw, Moltisanti, Flash Henry and Moore Of Darcy collided soon after the start checking all four greyhounds. Iceni Outlaw and Flash Henry collided approaching the first turn. Texas Blaze, Flash Henry and Golden Blaze collided on the first turn checking Golden Blaze. Flash Henry and Texas Blaze collided approaching the home turn. Georgie Best and Golden Blaze collided on the home turn. Spritely Boy and Georgie Best collided entering the home straight. Iceni Outlaw raced wide in the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Eaglehawk Beffa trialled over the 500mt from box 1, weight 34.5kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 28.46, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.75L. Eaglehawk Beffa was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Jetmeg Gemstone trialled over the 425mt from box 1, weight 25.6kg , the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.24, the greyhound won by a margin of 5.75L. Jetmeg Gemstone was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Croft, the trainer of Southpaw Knocka regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Southpaw Knocka last raced on 5/12/2015. Mr. Croft stated that the dog was new to his kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Southpaw Knocka trialled over the 425mt from box 3, weight 28.4kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was24.24, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.75L. Southpaw Knocka was Cleared.
