Steward's Report
Baroness Tiffie, Irish Asteria and Stunning Success were quick to begin. Rex On and Irish Asteria collided on the first turn checking Irish Asteria checking Irish Asteria. Guthrie checked off Lido's Boy on the home turn checking Irish Asteria. Sunset Oasis eased approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Dapiran, the trainer of the greyhound Sunset Oasis regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Sunset Oasis was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both wrists, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Sunset Oasis with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Dapiran pleaded guilty to the charge, Sunset Oasis was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
