Due to a techinal issue during kennelling Yesteryear was listed as a scratching. This information was incorrect, the TAB was contacted and the greyhound was reinstated.

Miss Fab crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Little Tacka.  Little Tacka and Miss Fab collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Fab which lost ground and collided with Ripple Eff Ex, Softie Sue and severely checked Son Of Nikita and Miss Fab causing both greyhounds to stumble and loss considerable ground as a result.

Bling Worthy crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Milly's Way and Vienna Pink.  Stockholm, Milly's Way and Bronelly Spike collided on the first turn checking Milly's Way and Bronelly Spike.  Dyna Yamba, Bronelly Spike and Milly's Way collided on the home turn checking Vienna Pink.  Vienna Pink raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke with the handler of Our First Lady, Mr A. Smith regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound. Stewards reminded Mr Smith of his responsibility of boxing the greyhound in a timely manner.

Useful was quick to begin.  Dave's Mistake and Tommy's Tune were slow to begin.

Rippin Tay Tay, Dark Vader and Invictus Reign collided soon after the start checking Dark Vader.  Dark Vader and Useful collided approaching the home turn checking Useful and Rippin Tay Tay.  Dave's Mistake and Tommy's Tune collided approaching the home turn checking Tommy's Tune.

Mr P Rowley, handler of Akina Akeira declared a new weight of 28.1 for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Akina Akeira last raced at 26.3.

Mr. D Jensen, handler of Stagger Express declared a new weight of 32.2 for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Stagger Express last raced at 30.7.

Stewards spoke to Mr P. Rowley, the handler of Akina Akeira regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Akina Akeira last raced on 31st March 2016. Mr Rowley stated that the greyhound was returning from a spell.

Pepper Fire and Fantastic Blake were quick to begin.  Miss Baroque and Fantastic Blake collided soon after the start.  Leo's Gift, Tough As Nails, Silverali and Miss Baroque collided approaching the first turn checking Tough As Nails and Silverali.  Leo's Gift and Miss Baroque collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds and causing them to race wide as a result.  Tough As Nails and Silverali collided entering the home straight.  Leo's Gift raced wide in the home straight.  Tough As Nails and Silverali collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Glass, the handler of Mendes regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Mendes last raced on 1st March 2016. Mr Glass stated that the greyhound was returning from season and a right monkey muscle injury.
