Steward's Report
Fragility was a late scratching at15:46 due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Mr G. Glass, the handler of Mendes regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Mendes last raced on 1st March 2016. Mr Glass stated that the greyhound was returning from season and a right monkey muscle injury.
A pre sample was taken from Dynamic Spin.
Time's Up Tom and Cosmic Medusa were slow to begin.
Dynamic Spin crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Gee Callan, Rusty Boy and severely checking Mendes. Time's Up Tom checked off Cosmic Medusa in the home straight.
