Flugelbinder and Independent Lass collided soon after the start. Gidra Joe checked off Carbrecel approaching the first turn and lost ground as a result. Lily Quist, Independent Lass and Carbrecel collided on the first turn checking Independent Lass and Murradoc Whiz. Lily Quist and Carbrecel collided approaching the home turn checking Lily Quist.
Gidra Joe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
