Cyclone Ruby, Knocka Eleven and Mighty Mayhem was slow to begin.
Miss Kiss crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Cyclone Ruby, Knocka Eleven and Mighty Mayhem. Cyclone Ruby and Mighty Mayhem collided on the first turn. Knocka Eleven checked off Ticka on the first turn and lost ground as a result. Miss Kiss, Silent Alarm and Ticka collided on the first turn checking Ticka. Mighty Mayhem, Cyclone Ruby and Ticka collided approaching the home turn checking Cyclone Ruby and Ticka. Cyclone Ruby checked off Ticka entering the home straight and collided with Knocka Eleven.
Knocka Eleven was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained small spike wounds to the back feet. No stand down period was imposed.
