Spider Creek was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Don't Paws and Like James collided on the first turn. Unruly Rebel and Loud Pockets collided on the first turn checking Unruly Rebel and Don't Paws. Spider Creek and Loud Pockets collided approaching the home turn checking Loud Pockets. Like James and Weekend Gangster collided several times in the home straight.
Loud Pockets was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh and a spike wound to the left hind. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
