A pre-race sample was taken from Ollie Agira upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Stewards spoke to Mr. V. Inguanti, the trainer of Ollie Agira regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ollie Agira last raced on 16th March, 2016. Mr. Inguanti stated that the greyhound was returning to race following a shoulder injury. Mr. Inguanti also declared a new weight of 30.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Ollie Agira last raced at 32.0kg..
Nitro Reaction was quick to begin. Ollie Agira was slow to begin. Cindy Lass checked off Nitro Reactor soon after the start. Torageous checked off Over It Tommy approaching the first turn.
