Steward's Report
Forheza was slow to begin. Special Max and Tendency collided soon after the start. Tendency was checked off Go Go Spaghettio on the first turn. Forheza and Tendency collided on the first turn checking Forheza. Forheza and Tendency collided approaching the home turn. Don't Crumble and Zelemar Doll collided approaching the winning post. McThumpa eased approaching the winning post.
McThumpa was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 10 it was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. H. Taylor the trainer of McThumpa regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged McThumpa with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Taylor pleaded guilty to the charge, McThumpa was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
