Robartette, Taymel Prince and Diamond Maxine were slow to begin.  Wadelock Cappa and Kimmy Bale collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Taymel Prince and Kimmy Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Taymel Prince.  Kimmy Bale galloped on Wadelock Cappa approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Diamond Maxine and Saint Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Saint Bale.  Make That Call and Saint Bale collided on the home turn.  Diamond Maxine and Wadelock Cappa raced wide in the home straight.

Ima Legend was slow to begin.  Blingsteen was checked off Baron Bling approaching the first turn.  Yabba Dabba Dee and Black Kaden collided on the first turn.  Ima Legend and Yabba Dabba Dee collided several times on the home turn.

Black Kaden was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dislocated toe on the left front foot and a split webbing on the left front foot, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

The judges failed to clear the semaphore board prior to the start of this event and the event was subsequently hand timed.

Forheza was slow to begin.  Special Max and Tendency collided soon after the start.  Tendency was checked off Go Go Spaghettio on the first turn.  Forheza and Tendency collided on the first turn checking Forheza.  Forheza and Tendency collided approaching the home turn.  Don't Crumble and Zelemar Doll collided approaching the winning post. McThumpa eased approaching the winning post. 

McThumpa was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 10 it was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mr. H. Taylor the trainer of McThumpa regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged McThumpa with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Taylor pleaded guilty to the charge, McThumpa was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ruff Edges, Dyna Shinko and Grand Faith collided approaching the first turn.  Golden Hand and Jenkins Bale collided on the first turn checking Golden Hand and Dyna Shinko.  Star Lord, Jenkins Bale and Ruff Edges collided approaching the home turn checking Ruff Edges and Grand Faith, both greyhounds raced wide as a result.  Star Lord and Jenkins Bale collided on the home turn checking Choclotto, Star Lord and Jenkins Bale.  Star Lord and Golden Hand collided entering the home straight checking Star Lord.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Ferguson the trainer of the greyhound Ruff Edges regarding his behaviour behind the boxes prior to the start being effected.  Stewards highlighted GAR 51(10)(c) to Mr. Ferguson, which deals with attracting the attention of any greyhound once they have been placed in the starting boxes.  Stewards noted Mr. Ferguson's explanation and took no further action, however reminded him that a repeat of such behaviour in the future may result in stronger action being taken.

Yuzuki Mikado was slow to begin.  Secretary Bird and Wadelock Juliet collided approaching the first turn.  Dr. Carlos and Goodnight Skye collided approaching the first turn.  Yuzuki Mikado and Where Are We collided approaching the first turn.  Secretary Bird and Wadelock Juliet collided approaching the home turn checking Secretary Bird. Dr. Carlos and Goodnight Skye collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Secretary Bird was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left chest muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mrs. L. Gough the trainer of Secretary Bird regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Delaroche, the handler of It's A Movin' with regard to the length of time the greyhound has had between racing. It's A Movin' last raced on 15 February 2015. Mr. J. Delaroche stated that It's A Movin is returning to racing from a toe injury. Stewards noted his comments. 

Mr. J. Delaroche the handler of It's A Movin declared a new weight of 32.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  It's A Movin'last raced at 33.4kg.

Joey Baby was quick to begin.  Undercoat, Happy Colour and Willie Gee collided soon after the start checking Undercoat and Happy Colour.  Midnight Timmy and Willie Gee collided approaching the first turn.  It's A Movin'galloped on Dr. Valhalla on the first turn checking Dr. Valhalla.  Midnight Timmy and It's A Movin'collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Happy Colour and Willie Gee collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Whyte, the trainer of You Say So with regard to the length of time the greyhound has had between racing. You Say So last raced on 24th February 2015. Mr. Whyte stated that You Say So has recovered from a hip injury and he has taken some time with the greyhound before racing again. Mr. Whyte added that You Say So has trialled on four seperate occassions prior to tonight's event. Stewards noted Mr. Whyte's comments.

Hogg The Lot was quick to begin.  Dee Plane Wayne went up with the lids at box rise.  Sloan Ranger and Tankster collided on the first turn checking Tankster.  Dr. Peter and Sandave Pearl collided on the first turn.  Sloan Ranger and You Say So collided approaching the home turn checking You Say So.  Sloan Ranger crossed to the outside on the home turn checking Dee Plane Wayne.  You Say So and Dee Plane Wayne collided entering the home straight.  Sloan Ranger and Dee Plane Wayne collided in the home straight.  Dr. Peter was checked off Citizen Jane approaching the winning post.

Ms. D. Johnston, trainer of Waterfront redeclared a new weight of 32.3kg's for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39 (2). Waterfront last raced at 33.7kg's.

Lucy Norris, Waterfront and Ousti were slow to begin.  Assertive Seer and Get Up Alvin collided soon after the start checking Assertive Seer.  Ousti and Assertive Seer collided approaching the first turn.  Ripplebrook Al and Breshia Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Ripplebrook Al.  Ripplebrook Al, Lucy Norris and Waterfront collided approaching the first turn checking Ripplebrook Al and Waterfront.  Lucy Norris and Get Up Alvin collided approaching the first turn.  Ripplebrook Al was checked off Get Up Alvin on the first turn.  Assertive Seer galloped on Ousti on the first turn severely checking Ousti.  Ousti raced wide in the home straight.  Where's Milly raced wide approaching the winning post.

Meeting comments:-

Satisfactory Trial Result - Tiger Eyed Jack trialled over the 460 metres from box 7, weight 33.6kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 26.49 secs, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 12 lengths.  Tiger Eyed Jack was not cleared.
