Lucy Norris, Waterfront and Ousti were slow to begin. Assertive Seer and Get Up Alvin collided soon after the start checking Assertive Seer. Ousti and Assertive Seer collided approaching the first turn. Ripplebrook Al and Breshia Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Ripplebrook Al. Ripplebrook Al, Lucy Norris and Waterfront collided approaching the first turn checking Ripplebrook Al and Waterfront. Lucy Norris and Get Up Alvin collided approaching the first turn. Ripplebrook Al was checked off Get Up Alvin on the first turn. Assertive Seer galloped on Ousti on the first turn severely checking Ousti. Ousti raced wide in the home straight.
