Jack Winter galloped on the heels Golden Girl Anna approaching the first turnchecking both greyhounds. Golden Girl Anna contacted the running rail on the first turn. Secret Marjen and Big Barking Bert collided approaching the home turn checking Secret Marjen.

Unleash Hell was vetted and revetted following 9. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Malcolm Davis, trainer of Unleashed Hell regarding the greyhound's performance over the concluding stages of the event. Mr Davis stated that it was the greyhound's first run over the 450m and believes the distance is currently too far for the greyhound to race without tiring. Stewards noted the explanation.
