Ima Tornado was a late scratching at 5.22p.m. on veterinary advice due to illness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Ripstick Ella was slow to begin.

Zoally checked off One Stormy Night soon after the start. Ripstick Ella and Eumeralla Fiona collided on the first turn checking Eumeralla Fiona. Paper Planes checked off Eumeralla Fiona approaching the home turn. One Stormy Night eased in the home straight. 

One Stormy Night was vetted and revetted following race 3. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Stewards spoke to Yvonne Andrews, the trainer of the greyhound One Stormy Night regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged One Stormy Night with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs Andrews pleaded guilty to the charge, One Stormy Night was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Super Ballotelli was slow to begin.

Bluehawk Sun and Charming Ally collided soon after the start. Spanish Express checked off Charming Ally approaching the first turn. Outrageous Ollie and Elite Runner collided several times approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Outrageous Ollie faltered on the first turn and tailed off. Super Ballotelli raced wide entering the home straight. 

Outrageous Ollie was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Stewards spoke to Gregory Couldridge, the handler of the greyhound Outrageous Ollie regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Outrageous Ollie with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Flying Hannah crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Benny's Reality, All Bolts and Bekim Nikita. Bekim Nikita checked off In Black Gear on the first turn. All Bolts and In Black Gear collided on the first turn checking In Black Gear, Benny's Reality, Mystique Speedy and Deep Rock. Benny's Reality, Mystique Speedy and Deep Rock collided on the first turn checking Mystique Speedy. Bekim Nikita checked off All Bolts entering the back straight. Benny's Reality checked off Deep Rock in the back straight. Orange Fisheggs severely checked off In Black Gear approaching the home turn. Orange Fisheggs and Benny's Reality raced wide in the home straight.

Baroness Tippy, Ima Menace and Jill Laker collided approaching the first turn. Miracle Maggie and Baroness Tippy collided on the first turn checking Miracle Maggie. Ima Menace and Jill Laker collided approaching the home turn. Jill Laker checked off Ima Menace approaching the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs Pauline Patterson regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Jill Laker. Stewards directed that Jill Laker be boxed first in future events.

Proven Glady was quick to begin.

Cosmic Madness checked off Seabrook Shelley soon after the start. Dynamic Groover checked off Seabrook Shelley approaching the first turn. Dynamic Groover, Tigress Eight and Cosmic Centruy collided on the first turn checking Tigress Eight and Cosmic Century. 

Be Hopeful, Bomber Jack and Hook Him In were slow to begin. 

Hook Him In, Bomber Jack and Dirk And Rosie collided soon after the start checking Bomber Jack. Fiery Fox crossed to the rail on the first turn checking King Enright, Faith In Bear, Lone Survivor and Hook Him In. Dirk And Rosie, Faith In Bear and Be Hopeful collided entering the back straight checking Be Hopeful and Faith In Bear. Dirk and Rosie and King Enright collided entering the home straight. Be Hopeful and Lone Survivor raced wide in the home straight.

Unleash Hell and Golden Girl Anna collided soon after the start checking Unleash Hell. Jack Winter, Unleash Hell, Leeannda Mate and Golden Girl Anna collided approaching the first turn checking Unleash Hell and Leeannda Mate. Jack Winter galloped on the heels Golden Girl Anna approaching the first turnchecking both greyhounds. Golden Girl Anna contacted the running rail on the first turn. Secret Marjen and Big Barking Bert collided approaching the home turn checking Secret Marjen.

Unleash Hell was vetted and revetted following 9. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Malcolm Davis, trainer of Unleashed Hell regarding the greyhound's performance over the concluding stages of the event. Mr Davis stated that it was the greyhound's first run over the 450m and believes the distance is currently too far for the greyhound to race without tiring. Stewards noted the explanation.

Molly's Silver, Big Bad Tom and Terrorizer collided soon after the start. Big Bad Tom and Terrorizer collided approaching the first turn checking Big Bad Tom. Conquer Fear, Wakeup Wednesday and Destini Lobo collided approaching the first turn checking Wakeup Wednesday and Destini Lobo. Molly's Silver and Big Bad Tom collided on the first turn severely checking Molly's Silver. Seeya Saturday and Terrorizer collided on the first turn checking Seeya Saturday, Wakeup Wednesday and Destini Lobo. Granville's Call checked off Conquer Fear approaching the home turn. Wakeup Wednesday and Destini Lobo collided approaching the home turn checking Wakeup Wednesday. 

Hotshot Booker and Abbey Lee were quick to begin.

Valletta Knight was slow to begin.

Valletta Knight checked off Sparkling Kitty soon after the start. Sparkling Kitty and Diane's Lass collided approaching the first turn. Bit Iffy and Fun Time Ally collided approaching the first turn checking Fun Time Ally. Sparking Kitty and High Alimony collided approaching the home turn checking Sparkling Kitty. Bit Iffy, Diane's Lass and Valletta Knight collided approaching the home turn. Diane's Lass and Valletta Knight collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Bet Bet May and Sparkling Kitty collided several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds. 

Sparkling Kitty was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

King Of Sunshine was quick to begin.

Valentine Belle and Riddle Me Lad collided soon after the start checking Riddle Me Lad. Urban Rock Star and Miss Viking collided soon after the start checking Urban Rock Star. Miss Viking and Uno Frankie collided approaching the first turn. Phil's In Luck and Tiny Profit collided on the first turn checking Tiny Profit. Tiny Profit and Uno Frankie collided on the home turn checking Tiny Profit which checked off Urban Rock Star as a result. Urban Rock Star and Tiny Profit raced wide in the home straight. Tiny Profit and Uno Frankie collided in the home straight. 

Ice Cold Bundy crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Rich Azz Yeew, Uncontrollable and Classy Tulip. Don's Legend, Eumeralla Danny, Uncontrollable and Belena Bolt collided on the first turn checking Eumeralla Danny, Belena Bolt and Uncontrollable. Ice Cold Bundy and Alice Fox collided approaching the home turn checking Alice Fox and Don's Legend. Belena Bolt galloped on the heels of Don's Legend approaching the home turn checking Belena Bolt, Don's Legend and Uncontrollable. Belena Bolt and Don's Legend collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. 

Classy Tulip was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
