Kiltah Magic was quick to begin. Know Danger was slow to begin.
Beau Mambo crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Clash Of Kings, severely checking Polly Bale, Sonic Pirate and Beau Mambo. Kiltah Magic, Polly Bale and Sonic Pirate raced wide in the front straight. Clash Of Kings checked off Weblec Rose approaching the second turn and fell as a result. Know Danger and Optimus Bart collided approaching the third turn. Know Danger and Weblec Rose collided on the home turn checking Weblec Rose.
Clash Of Kings was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained neck soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Polly Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Miss C. Dailly, the handler of Polly Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the second turn.
