Spring Trail, Zipping Chubbz and Alpha Aphrodite were slow to begin.

Igor Karkaroff crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Go Vicki.  Keeps No Secrets and Zipping Chubbz collided on the first turn.  Go Vicki checked off Alpha Aphrodite on the first turn.  Spring Trail eased and collided with Go Vicki approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Keeps No Secrets checked off Alpha Aphrodite on the third turn.  

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Merciaca, the handler of the greyhound Spring Trail regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the second turn. Spring Trail was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right stopper and left medial thigh injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Spring Trail with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. Mr. C. Merciaca pleaded guilty to the charge, Spring Trail was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trail (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Our Zayney Nash was quick to begin.

Tricky Mover and Dr. Dawn collided soon after the start.  Tricky Mover checked off Dr. Dawn soon after the start checking Tricky Mover.  Dr. Dawn, Nifty Neveelk and Simply Cruzin collided approaching the first turn.  Dr. Dawn and Nifty Neveelk collided on the first turn.  Tricky Mover and Akina Akeira collided on the first turn.  He's Panicken and Vulcan Rose collided approaching the second turn.  Tricky Mover checked off He's Panicken on the home turn.  Simply Cruzin raced wide on the home turn.

Galloping Rocky was slow to begin.

Ringer, Decanus, Six Green Thumbs and Jokowi collided soon after the start checking Decanus and Six Green Thumbs.  Ringer and Jokowi collided on the first turn checking Jokowi.  Ringer and Razldazl Pacino collided on the first turn.  Six Green Thumbs, Black Velcro and Galloping Rocky collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds and causing all three greyhounds to race wide. Razldazl Pacino and Wadelock Bill collided on the third turn.  Decanus faltered entering the back straight and lost considerable ground as a result which caused Black Velcro and Galloping Rocky to be checked.  Galloping Rocky checked off Black Velcro on the fourth turn.  

Decanus which tailed off and was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a broken right hock, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Scarlet was a late scratching at 9.52AM due to  injury.(GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ninety Five was quick to begin. Sisco Wake was slow to begin.

Uncle Ant and Tribal Faith collided approaching the first turn checking Uncle Ant.  Tribal Faith raced wide in the front straight.  Vernon Bale and Ninety Five collided in the back straight.  Uncle Ant, Tribal Faith and Dancing Pumps collided on the fifth turn checking Uncle Ant and Dancing Pumps.  Tribal Faith raced wide in the home straight.  Sisco Wake tied in the concluding stages of the event. 

Mr J. Galea representing trainer Ms. D. Galea explained to stewards that in his opinion Sisco Wake has difficulty in running out a strong 715mtrs. Sisco Wake was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Creative Karisma, Black Illusion and Awesome Grunt were slow to begin.

Creative Karisma and Black Illusion collided soon after the start.  Creative Karisma brushed the running rail approaching the first turn.  Bolt On checked off Black Illusion on the first turn.  Superfonic checked off Lamia Bale approaching the second turn.  Black Illusion checked off Missile Flash in the back straight.  

Missile Flash was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Angie Rocks was slow to begin.

Oakvale Flyer and Cosmic Wise collided soon after the start checking Cosmic Wise.  Short Cake Cloud checked off No Diggity on the first turn.  No Diggity, Oakvale Flyer and Cosmic Wise collided on the first turn checking Oakvale Flyer and Cosmic Wise.  Angie Rocks checked off Short Cake Cloud entering the back straight.  Oakvale Flyer and Cosmic Wise collided approaching the home turn.

Coulta Rock was slow to begin.

Quasi Bale and Dyna Geldof collided soon after the start.  Unix Bale checked off Summer Wages approaching the first turn checking Coulta Rock.  Unix Bale and Coulta Rock collided entering the back straight causing Quasi Bale to race wide checking Dyna Geldof.  Coulta Rock and Quasi Bale collided approaching the third turn.  Ima Fairytale faltered on the third turn and lost considerable ground as a result.

Ima Fairytale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a medial left thigh injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping was quick to begin.

Love Affair and Ikari Spark collided soon after the start checking Love Affair.  Shanlyn Lucy, Pride Of Egypt and Starc collided soon after the start checking Pride Of Egypt. Ikari Spark and Esparza raced wide on the first turn.  Esparza checked off Ikari Spark approaching the third turn.  Pride Of Egypt checked off Shanlyn Lucy on the third turn.  Love Affair checked off Esparza on the third turn and raced wide.  Pride Of Egypt and Esparza collided on the fourth turn checking Esparza which collided with Ikari Spark as a result.  Pride Of Egypt, Zipping Geoff and Love Affair collided on the fifth turn.  Pride Of Egypt and Zipping Geoff collided approaching the home turn.  Shanlyn Lucy, Starc and Blue Giant collided on the home turn checking Starc and Blue Giant.  Blue Giant tied over the concluded stages.

Esparza was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left shoulder injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. P. Akathiotis stated that in his opinion Blue Giant has difficulty in running out a strong 715mtrs. Blue Giant was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Polly Bale was vetted at the conclusion of kennelling and was passed fit to race by Veterinarian Dr. E. Marriott.

Kiltah Magic was quick to begin. Know Danger was slow to begin.

Beau Mambo crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Clash Of Kings, severely checking Polly Bale, Sonic Pirate and Beau Mambo.  Kiltah Magic, Polly Bale and Sonic Pirate raced wide in the front straight.  Clash Of Kings checked off Weblec Rose approaching the second turn and fell as a result.  Know Danger and Optimus Bart collided approaching the third turn.  Know Danger and Weblec Rose collided on the home turn checking Weblec Rose.  

Clash Of Kings was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained neck soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Polly Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning to Miss C. Dailly, the handler of Polly Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the second turn.

Gary Doogan was slow to begin.

Louie Neveelk checked off Earl Bale soon after the start.  Bruce Tycoon, Louie Neveelk and Dyna Brainiac collided approaching the first turn.  Dyna Tiber, Bruce Tycoon, Louie Neveelk and Dyna Brainiac collided on the first turn checking Bruce Tycoon, Louie Neveelk, Dyna Brainiac and Gary Doogan.  Louie Neveelk and Dyna Brainiac collided entering the back straight.  Dyna Brainiac and Gary Doogan collided in the back straight checking Dyna Brainiac.  Louie Neveelk and Earl Bale collided approaching the winning post.

Awesome Fear and Barksdale collided soon after the start.  Ultimate Talent, Humming Birdhill and Awesome Fear collided soon after the start checking Ultimate Talent, Humming Birdhill and Awesome Fear.  Humming Birdhill checked off Barksdale approaching the first turn.  Awesome Fear and Barksdale collided entering the back straight.  Ultimate Talent collided approaching the third turn checking Ultimate Talent.  Ultimate Talent checked off Eyes Adorable on the home turn causing Ultimate Talent to race wide. 

Harden Bale was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Linco Bale, Conspiracy, Crackerjack Bob and Eli's Jet collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Bob and Eli's Jet and causing Eli's Jet to race wide.  Linco Bale and Conspiracy collided on the home turn.

Brown Bomber which performed below market expectations was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
