A pre race sample was taken from To The Galo's.
Belena Jake and Aston Gatum collided soon after the start. Belena Jake, Rosie's Crusade and Mine Craft collided approaching the first turn. Oriental Tsunami and Rosie's Crusade collided approaching the home turn, checking Oriental Tsunami. To The Galo's was held up for a clear run on the home turn. Rosie's Crusade and Mine Craft collided on several occasions on the home turn and in the home straight.
Oriental Tsunami was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right paw wound and an injured left back muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
