Black Pontiac crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Changing Lights, Quirinus Quirrel and Premier Song.  Zelemar Storm and Black Pontiac collided approaching the home turn.  Black Pontiac and White Bandit collided on the home turn.  Premier Song raced wide on the home turn, checking Changing Lights.

Blingsteen checked off Sweet Barbados approaching the first turn.  Big Bang Marjen, Sacramento Sal and Sweet Barbados collided on the first turn, checking Sacramento Sal.  Infinite Senor and Sacramento Sal collided approaching the home turn.  Lynlea Jake and Infinite Senor collided approaching the home turn, checking Lynlea Jake.  Sacramento Sal and Sutton Club collided in the home straight, checking Sacramento Sal.

Sacramento Sal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Judge S Bonaccourso did not act in any official capacity for this event.

Small one and Zigstar collided soon after the start.  Sacred Diamond and Bekim Nikita collided soon after the start.  Bekim Nikita and Zigstar collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Zigstar and Prancing Magic collided on the second turn.  Prancing Magic clipped the heels of Bekim Nikita on the second turn, checking Prancing Magic.

A sample was taken from Cambridge Prince- the winner of the event. 

Prancing Magic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right deltoid, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Small One was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Briganti, the trainer of Prancing Magic regarding the greyhound's performance in tonight's event. Mr. Briganti could offer no explanation except that Prancing Magic, in his opinion, races best when in a forward position. Stewards noted his comments and took no further action. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Riley, the handler of Small One with regard to the length of time the greyhound has had between racing. Small One last raced on 22nd December 2014. Mr. Riley stated that Small One was a new addition to the kennel and that the trainer Mr. R. Britton has taken some time with the greyhound prior to racing in tonight's event. Stewards noted his comments. 

Mafalda Hopkirk was slow to begin.  Ponting's Nail crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Igor Karkaroff, Lektra Hombre, My Girl Chloe and Polijuice Potion.  Ponting's Nail, Hard Bargain and Marvelous Marvin collided approaching the first turn, checking Mafalda Hopkirk, Igor Karkaroff, Marvelous Marvin and Polijuice Potion, causing Mafalda Hopkirk to stumble as a result.  Mafalda Hopkirk and Marvelous Marvin collided on the home turn.  Lektra Hombre raced wide in the home straight.  Marvelous Marvin checked off Igor Karkaroff approaching the winning post.

Dyna Keitaro crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Governor Bale, Velocity Saphire and Hooksy.  Dyna Keitaro, Governor Bale, Hooksy and Skip's Nightmare collided on the first turn, checking Hooksy, Skip's Nightmare and Velocity Saphire.  Hooksy and Dyna Keitaro collided approaching the home turn, checking Dyna Keitaro.  Scenic Shot checked off Governor Bale approaching the winning post.

Hooksy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Auld, the handler of Hooksy with regard to the length of time the greyhound has had between racing. Hooksy last raced on 2nd January 2015. Mr. Auld stated that Hooksy suffered a shoulder injury at The Meadows last July and re-injured that same shoulder at Bendigo at its last start in January. Mr. Auld added that Hooksy trialled well before tonight's event and in his opinion the greyhound will improve with racing.

Run On Rosey checked off Seeking Justice soon after the start.  Seeking Justice crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Volksjager Blue, He's No Jet and Kilcolegan Cross.  Run On Rosey checked off Zipping Basil approaching the first turn.  Volksjager Blue checked off Zipping Basil on the first turn, checking Run On Rosey.  Kilcolegan Cross checked off Zipping Basil in the home straight.

Classy Boy and Dark Jameson collided soon after the start, checking Classy Boy.  Money Come Back, Dark Jameson, Zipping Eastwood and Bronco De Jurer collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Eastwood, Bronco De Jurer and Punk Star Lass collided on the first turn, checking Bronco De Jurer.  Hession Boots, Lemon Patchwork, Money Come Back and Dark Jameson collided on the first turn, checking Lemon Patchwork, Money Come Back and Dark Jameson.  Bronco De Jurer checked off Lemon Patchwork on the second turn.  Money Come Back and Dark Jameson collided on the home turn.  Money Come Back checked off Dark Jameson in the home straight.

Lynlea Jiddy and Chrichton Bale were quick to begin.  Grand Intention severely checked off Dynamo's Miss soon after the start, causing Grand Intention to fall as a result.  Dynamo's Miss, Pason Sander and Molly Michelle collided on the first turn, checking Dynamo's Miss and Molly Michelle.  Pason Sander checked off Deli Allen entering the back straight.  Pason Sander and Deli Allen collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds.  Dynamo's Miss and Pason Sander collided approaching the winning post.

Grand Intention was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Belena Jake and Aston Gatum collided soon after the start.  Belena Jake, Rosie's Crusade and Mine Craft collided approaching the first turn.  Oriental Tsunami and Rosie's Crusade collided approaching the home turn, checking Oriental Tsunami.  To The Galo's was held up for a clear run on the home turn.  Rosie's Crusade and Mine Craft collided on several occasions on the home turn and in the home straight.

Oriental Tsunami was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right paw wound and an injured left back muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

An out of competition sample was taken from Low Talker engaged in this event on 25 May 2015 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Ernest Bale and Low Talker was slow to begin.  Iona Boom Boom, Low Talker and Kraken Flash collided soon after the start, checking Low Talker and Kraken Flash.  Low Talker and Kraken Flash collided on the first turn.  Low Talker checked off Iona Boom Boom on the first turn, severely checking Kraken Flash.  Alice Fox checked off Kanga Kel approaching the home turn.  Kraken Flash checked off Kanga Kel in the home straight.

Kraken Flash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
