What's Chewing, Starc, Weblec Rose and Quantum Bale collided soon after the start checking What's Chewing and Starc. Razldazl Pacino, Dynamic Punch and Broadway Miss collided on the first turn. Weblec Rose and Broadway Miss collided approaching the second turn. Razldazl Pacino and Dynamic Punch collided on the second turn checking Razldazl Pacino. Weblec Rose and Broadway Miss collided on the second turn checking Weblec Rose. Razldazl Pacino and Quantum Bale collided on the second turn. Weblec Rose and Superfonic collided in the back straight checking Superfonic. Starc and Weblec Rose collided approaching the home turn. Broadway Miss marred the running of Dynamic Punch in the home straight.
Broadway Miss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf and right triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr M. Carter, Trainer of Broadway Miss. Acting under GAR 69(1), Stewards charged Broadway Miss with marring. Mr Carter pleaded guilty to the charge, Broadway Miss was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
