Mewstone Rocket, Redfern and Rules Apply were slow to begin. Light Flight and Holly Jane collided approaching the first turn. Che Che Midi collided approaching the first turn. Che Che Midi checked off Can't See Me and collided with Holly Jane on the first turn checking Light Flight, Mewstone Rocket, Redfern and Rules Apply and severely checking Flying Opal. Light Flight checked off Rules Apply on the second turn. Redfern and Rules Apply collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.
