Nitro Sal was very slow to begin. Lord Kitchener went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Miss Capone, Jax Marmion, Kalimna Sprite, Derby Dream and Blue Marmion collided on the first turn checking Jax Marmion, Kalimna Sprite and Leo Speedwagon. Lord Kitcener and Miss Capone collided on the home turn.

Nitro Sal was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left tricep and left groin. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Diamond Express, Milburn Gold and Marmasette were slow to begin. Trevs Pride, Good Golly Polly, Mr. Stealer and Vivid Intent collided on the first turn checking Good Golly Polly, Milburn Gold, Light Feathers and Marmasette and severely checking Vivid Intent. Diamond Express and Mr. Stealer collided on the second turn. Good Golly Polly and Milburn Gold collided approaching the home turn checking Good Golly Polly. Light Feathers veered out and marred the running of Good Golly Polly on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds which tailed off as a result. Diamond Express and Marmasette collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Ms. K. Smith, the handler of the greyhound Light Feathers regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Light Feathers with marring. Ms. Smith pleaded guilty to the charge, Light Feathers was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Good Golly Polly was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Light Feathers was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the right triangle. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

A sample was taken from Trevs Pride winner of the event. 

A pre race sample was taken from Rip It.

Rip It, Franklin Pearl and To A Degree were quick to begin. Zyon, It's An Illusion and Runaway Shae were slow to begin. Rip It and Franklin Pearl collided approaching the first turn checking Franklin Pearl. It's An Illusion and Rebel Commander collided approaching the first turn. Paddy's Nemo, Franklin Pearl and It's An Illusion collided on the first turn checking It's An Illusion, Rebel Commander, Runaway Shae and Zyon. Paddy's Nemo checked off Franklin Pearl approaching the home turn.

A pre race sample was taken from Can't See Me.

Mewstone Rocket, Redfern and Rules Apply were slow to begin. Light Flight and Holly Jane collided approaching the first turn. Che Che Midi collided approaching the first turn. Che Che Midi checked off Can't See Me and collided with Holly Jane on the first turn checking Light Flight, Mewstone Rocket, Redfern and Rules Apply and severely checking Flying Opal. Light Flight checked off Rules Apply on the second turn. Redfern and Rules Apply collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

A pre race sample was taken from Octagon Girl.

Cosmic Lily was quick to begin. Giants Dance and Immortal Bear were slow to begin. Octagon Girl, Reiko Bale, Punk Panther, Giants Dance, Immortal Bear and Premier Hawk collided soon after the start checking Reiko Bale, Giants Dance and Immortal Bear. Punk Panther and Premier Hawk collided on the first turn checking Premier Hawk.

Octagon Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Kid Audacious and Neolicious were slow to begin. Beau West and Senor Gold collided soon after the start. Summer Wages, Brazen Bull and Beau West collided approaching the first turn checking Brazen Bull. Kid Audacious contacted the running rail on the first turn. Neolicious and Brazen Bull collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Neolicious. Le Luca checked off Neolicious in the home straight.

Kid Audaciuos was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained  soreness in the left tricep, left triangle and left shoulder. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

A sample was taken from Senor Gold, winner of the event.

A pre race sample was taken from Northern Blues.

Northern Blues was quick to begin. Kaylarikki was slow to begin and trailed the field throughout. Filius Flitwick, Kurkze, Be Two Bomber, Punk Star Lass and Navaho collided on the first turn checking Kurzke, Be Two Bomber and Punk Star Lass. 

Kaylarikki was vetted following the the event. It was reported that that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left shoulder and an injury to the left groin. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.

A sample was taken from Turbine.

Schumacher and Kraken Soupy were quick to begin. Billy Higgs, Charlie Pearce and Turbine were slow to begin. Spreading Rumors and Billy Higgs collided soon after the start checking Billy Higgs. Schumacher crossed to the rail entering the back straight checking Eye Smith. Eye Smith and Chappy collided approaching the second turn checking Chappy. Chappy and Charlie Pearce collided on the second turn. Spreading Rumors checked off Billy Higgs on the second turn. Billy Higgs checked off Eye Smith.

Rebel Lady and See Him Run was quick to begin. Miss Rossi, Darra Ash and Who's That Hook were slow to begin. Heleray Steele and Miss Rossi collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Rossi. Seabrook Shelley and Miss Rossi collided approaching the home turn checking Seabrook Shelley and Dara Ash. Heleray Steele and Select Seaspray collided approaching the home turn checking Select Seaspray. Rebel Lady eased on the home turn and collided with See Him Run and Heleray Steele, checking both greyhounds. See Him Run and Rebel Lady collided in the home straight.

Select Seaspray was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sore right groin. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. B. King, the handler of the greyhound Rebel Lady regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Rebel Lady was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triangle and left tricep, a 7 stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Rebel Lady with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms. King pleaded guilty to the charge, Rebel Lady was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Straight Flush and Fancy Assassin were quick to begin. It's A Wrap and Dura Mata were slow to begin. Fancy Agro and Hula collided on the first turn checking Fancy Agro. It's A Wrap checked off Fancy Assassin on the second turn. Dura Mater, Straight Flush and Fancy Agro collided on the second turn. It's A Wrap and Straight Flush collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Straight Flush checked off It's A Wrap in the home straight.

Straight Flush was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A pre race sample was taken from Savage Storm.

Planetman, Savage Storm and Cose Drom collided soon after the start checking Savage Storm. Haitch Two Mo and Lucy Rae collided soon after the start. Cowboy Jury checked off Planetman approaching the first turn. Savage Storm and Dee Jay's Sniper collided approaching the home turn checking Cose Drom and Lucy Rae. Cowboy Jury checked off Dee Jay's Sniper on the home turn checking Cose Drom and Lucy Rae and severely checking Savage Storm which stumbled and lost ground. 

Savage Storm was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left shoulder and soreness in the right tricep. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Select Jess.

Immortal Panther was quick to begin. Tredgar, Court Gift, Southwood Denis and Advice Aplenty were slow to begin. Select Jess crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Southwood Denis and Advice Aplenty. Douthwood Denis raced wide approaching the first turn. Tredgar, Southwood Lloyd and Lil' Miss Pleb collided approaching the first turn checking Southwood Lloyd and Tredgar. Southwood Denis and Advice Aplenty collided on the first turn. Tredgar, Southwood Lloyd and Select Jess collided approaching the home turn checking Southwood Lloyd. Advice Aplenty checked off Southwood Lloyd and collided with Southwood Denis on the home turn checking Southwood Denis.Select Denis raced wide in the home straight.
