Steward's Report
Darley Tuesday was quick to begin. Don Fire was very slow to begin (2 lengths). Slipaway Curly, Nitro Cru and Valentine Belle collided soon after the start checking Slipaway Curly. Nitro Cru and Stolen Gem collided approaching the first turn checking Stolen Gem. Slipaway Curly checked off Nitro Cru approaching the home turn and raced wide as a result. Stolen Gem and Nitro Cru collided on the home turn checking Stolen Gem and severely checking Nitro Cru.
Nitro Cru was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
